Quixtar/Amway: Perversion of Faith, The Prosperity Gospel, and Deceptive Whispers.

It is Easter morning as I consider what to say in today's post. Easter is a day of blessed hope. We are reminded that the best is yet to come because Jesus lived as a man, died, and now gloriously lives again and sits at the right hand of God. In our imperfect world, we can be comforted that Christ has paid in full our sin debt. There is nothing that can be added or taken away, whether in word or deed, to alter this triumph of life over death. God's plan is righteous and true.

Today's subject is the "Prosperity" Gospel. Where has it gotten us? The idea that God wants to prosper us materially as well as spiritually is a belief that many hold true. Many people put more faith in the prosperity than they put in God. People put unbelievable faith in business plans, compensation systems, motivational organizations and "how to" books and tapes, while also believing they are doing God's will. They believe God will bless and reward their Quixtar/Amway dreams at some future time if they remain faithful to the system.

Belief, faith and hope in deceptive business systems do not impress me as being godly business. Such deceptive pursuits usually ends up exhausting the human spirit and squander time and money. There is really no legitimate get rich scheme in the world which does not have greed and deception at its heart. People wanting to pursue Quixtar powered dreams would be much better off placing their money in retirement investment plans, saving money on brick and mortar products and by spending more quality time with their family. Children should not have to be handed off every evening so the plan can be shown.

What is wrong with work, having a career, or even operating a regular business? When a business opportunity teaches that a person working a job is a "Jackass Of the Boss" you, my friend, are in the presence of a deceptive ideology carefully conceived by scoundrels to deceive you. Are we not all supposed to be laborers in God's vineyard? Employment may have its problems, but so does self employment.

Many of the hardest working people are self employed. Many times they are up and off to their place of business well before the 8:00 AM start time for employees. Folk who employ themselves must--in the long and short of things--pay themselves. To tell someone who works for a living that they are a jackass is insulting and just the first of many deceptive recruitment tactics used by Quixtar recruiters.

Quixtar believers are taught to hold traditional employment in low esteem. Daily dissatisfaction with the 9 to 5 grind is encouraged. People who believe these deceptive motivational teachings become dissatisfied with their careers. They view their "Just Over Broke" job as a necessary evil. They dream about the glorious day when they (like Eric Scheibler) can blast their clock radio into pieces and run into the open arms of fellow Amway Global/Quixtar believers. Constant exposure to cult-like propaganda fosters this "fire the boss" view of things.

At a Quixtar recruitment meeting a person will likely hear an exaggerated, mostly deceptive version of the prosperity gospel, and may be exposed to any number of "too good to be true" success stories whispered about over refreshments. Sharply dressed up-line distributors may be present to impress prospects with their trappings of success. These special up-line guests serve to persuade reluctant prospects.

Amway/Quixtar distributors act like God's Pied Piper. Their unmistakable message is: "Dear friend, follow us into our Christ inspired business where success is all but guaranteed if you will simply put negative thoughts out of your mind and devote yourself entirely to this business."

Quixtar recruitment meetings take on the atmosphere of a gospel gathering. People are asked to make a religious-like decision and believe the Amway gospel. The problem with these gospel conversions is that they are founded on a mostly fraudulent prospectus which is so patently false that Quixtar makes a show of insulating themselves from distributor deceit citing fine print in the business contract and distribution of "disclaimer" form information. It is a buyer beware situation for anyone talked into believing all the deceptive talk.

Newly recruited Quixtar distributors carry on the same recruitment techniques at their own recruitment gatherings. The false gospel of Amway/Quixtar is thereby passed on in a continual string of quasi-religious meetings under the guise of presenting a network marketing opportunity.

Prospects, by design, are usually never told why and for what purpose they have been invited to attend a recruitment gathering. People who would refuse an upfront invitation to attend a MLM meeting, are many times undone by the personal hard sell once they are deceived into visiting the meeting. The entire recruitment process is carefully choreographed and staged. Recruitment deceptions begins well in advance of the meeting. In my opinion nothing good derives from a venture that begins with deceit. One might say this is a legitimate sales technique, but I don't buy that argument. Deception is still deceitful.

People who are duped and deceived by cult misinformation do not see themselves as deceivers or purveyors of deception. Ultimate truth is the enemy of lies which masquerade themselves as truth.

Lies originate with Satan the deceiver. Be wary of people who operate in the light of darkness for they are deceived. Their purpose is to duplicate themselves by proselytizing the unwary. May the truth of their own deception become known to them so they might throw off this pernicious business cult.

The sad truth is, many Quixtar distributors know the real truth of their seedy business scheme but choose to continue in it anyway. They prey upon character flaws their training teaches them to perceive in their prospects. These are dirty tactics and have little to do with Christian business principles.

Quixtar Cult Intervention takes a stand against pernicious business ventures that use deception, exaggeration, and misleading whispers to con unwary people into a recruit and dupe pyramid scam. Do not believe the ungodly deceptive plans of men, but do believe God's plan of salvation.

What really gets me is that IBO's don't ever stop to think that God/Jesus have bigger and more important things to deal with other than Amquix? With all the disease, hunger, and hatred in the world I am sure that God/Jesus doesn't take the precious time to look down on a few people who gather to sell crap to each other. I am sure that God has someone take note of the perversion of his name by IBO's.

They really don't sell crap to each other. They all buy crap from Quixtar and upline tool weasels. If the were really selling crap to each other there might be some profit involved.

To believe that God is blessing Quixtar folk who are using deceptive tools of the devil is to believe God is also blinded to such deceits.

This article is great, just spot-on: around 30-years-ago I knew a family that was hooked on the Amway scam. The parents were former Air Force, a strangely vulnerable demographic to such scams and cults--and they came around our home trying to sell their wares.

The sales tactics cannot have changed very much since the. If you didn't buy Amway products, you were somehow "inferior." To say they were peculiar people with bizarre beliefs (and therefore, vulnerable) would be a euphemism.

The connection with the "prosperity gospel" rings true to these eyes and ears, they parroted a similar line and had a religious sell to it. As far as I could tell, they never made a dime.

Thanks. Yes, seems like very little really changes in the Method of Operation of these cults. These folks give me the impression that they feel that if you are not with them, then you are against them. Seems like they are always looking for gullible suckers, and once they identify a person as not falling into the category, it is so long loser! They give themselves a bad rep, that I only describe, they are the cause.
